Grandpa Denny and Grandma Abbie brought Calvin to the kid's Easter Party at the Moose Lodge again this year. I missed it last year because I was out of town but I got to tag along this time.
There was an Easter Egg hunt, which was nice because it was about 40 degrees outside. And Calvin is finally old enough to really get excited about stuff like looking for eggs filled with candy!
There was an egg dying station. Here I'm showing off Calvin's egg covered in stickers since he was too busy playing with the other kids to pose with it. I thought it was funny that out of all the eggs that were colored, Calvin's was 1 of only 2 eggs dyed pink. His choice.
We stood in line to see the Easter Bunny who was handing out little bags of toys.
The Easter Bunny was a little scary lookin in my opinion...
Calvin got a little stuffed raccoon in his bag, which he now loves and later named "Sam."
There was a silent auction towards the end of the party and Calvin thankfully won one item we bid on. Here he is showing off his prize, whale and dolphin squirt guns to Grandpa Denny.
After the party we went back to Denny and Abbie's for an early Easter dinner with Jeremy. And Calvin found the first of several Easter baskets he would aquire this year.
